Research across disciplines and coastlines

I am a Postdoctoral Research Specialist at Arizona State University, where I lead scientific development for a NOAA-funded initiative on climate indicators and early-warning systems across Pacific Island nations. I am also a visiting scholar at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and an external postdoctoral collaborator with the GeoOcean group at Universidad de Cantabria.

My research combines coastal engineering, climate science and data-driven modelling. I focus on hybrid downscaling techniques and climate-based emulators that can efficiently represent low-probability, high-impact hazards—including flooding, shoreline change, storm surge, waves and tropical cyclones.
